Project 2009 - IMPORTANT UPDATE!!! TEECH are going to Romania to help a fire damaged Orphanage! Unfortunately due to Swine Flu restrictions we have to change our project location for 2009 and hope to visit Moldova in 2010
Due to unforeseen circumstance resulting from the increasing outbreak of swine flu across the world, the Moldovan government has decided to close its boarders to all humanitarian aid. To date Moldova is one of the few countries with no confirmed cases of the flu, we have been advised that the volunteers can still enter the country but no aid or equipment is allowed.

TEECH has decided to postpone the Moldovan trip till next year and instead go with our plan b which is to help a fire damaged orphanage in a place called Comanesti in Romania, where similar help is needed to the project in Moldova. Going to Romania will mean we can depart for the project a day later on Sunday 16th August and arrive at our destination on Tuesday 18th but still leave for our return journey on Wednesday 26th and be back in the UK on Saturday 29th.
For those planning to fly we would suggest either still flying direct to Bucharest and getting the train to a place called Bacau and then we can arrange for you to be collected from the station or you fly direct into Bacau from Stansted or other UK airports.

Fundraising and donations for 2009 project
TEECH would like as much of your money for the trip by the 31st July as we need to buy a lot of supplies and equipment this month
Masquerade Ball 13th June
This event was another massive success raising over £3000 for TEECH, thank you to all volunteers that joined us on the night, much fun and games were had
Pack Up Saturday 25th July
We hope that lots can join us on Saturday morning as we need a big sort out of the store for aid we are to take to Romania and what is to be held over for Moldova next year
