'The BT Chairman’s Awards recognise the exceptional commitment to volunteering by BT people. Each winner was personally chosen by the chairman himself, from a shortlist selected from over 150 applications by a panel of judges. In total all entrants for the awards gave an incredible 1,561 hours of volunteering time per month, equating to nearly 20,000 hours a year.'
Vic Tallowin, Rob Brown and a number of TEECH volunteered where filmed as part of TEECH's application for the award. Under the title EDUCATION, DEVELOPMENT AND AWARENESS - Highly Commended: Victor Tallowin, T.E.E.C.H were awarded a donation.
