Telecoms Eastern European Challenge
Would you be willing to give up two weeks of your time to help a local charity take much needed aid and assist on projects like helping to refurbish a school, orphanage, hospital or old people’s homes in some of the poorest parts of Eastern Europe?

Interested in Volunteering?
"Volunteering is defined as any activity that involves spending time, unpaid, doing something which aims to benefit the environment or individuals or groups other than (or in addition to) close relatives." Volunteering England Information Sheet 2008.
All we ask is that volunteers raise a minimum of £500 in fundraising. This money goes towards funding the project and covers your travel expenses like the coach trip there and back, insurance to work abroad, accommodation and food whilst on location.

TEECH 2011 Shoe Box Appeal
Following the massive sucess of our previous two shoe box appeals we are again collecting shoeboxes to deliver to some of the poorest parts of Eastern Europe. The orphanges, familes, hopsitals and retirement homes cannot believe the generousity and the shoeboxes are often the first christmas present they have ever had.
As with the previous appeals TEECH volunteers travel to Eastern Europe arriving on Christmas Day which means we are able to collect shoe boxes until around the middle of December which means you can save lots on the Christmas deals in the shops.

Donations in 2010 helped...
To turn a dis-used classroom into to 2 toilets/washrooms; one each for boys and girls. On arrival the team set about pulling up the existing wooden floor and dividing the large room into 2 smaller ones. This was done by using timber struts and plaster board and a new doorway was cut into the main corridor so as they each had a separate entrance.
Donations in 2009 helped...
The TEECH 2009 Project was to help restore a wing in the Robert Cole Centre, a school for special needs children that was damaged in a fire. While on location it was brough to our attention of a group of homeless people who were living in a adjacent wing with no toilets or running water.

After the sucess of the Teech 2008 10th Year Anniversary Masquerade Ball, TEECH are repeating the event at St Elizabeths Hotel, Copdock on 13th June 2009. Last years Masquerade Ball raised lots of money for TEECH and also provided some great publicity and awareness for our charity.
The popular Ipswich band Words and Music are back to supply the entertainment. The act has enjoyed playing most of the popular live-music venues accross the country, and has often taken part in larger events such as Children In Need and recently celebrated the 40th anniversary of the Sgt Pepper album, performing every song live on stage, and on air! for BBC Radio.. Otley College are donating 2 places on their beginners computer training course. Learn what a mouse is, a keyboard, how they plug into a pc, connecting and browsing the internet. This is worth £140
Old Orleans have donated a £30 meal voucher at their restaurant in Cardinal Park, Ipswich

Painting by Gareth Lee of Felixstowe Docks has been donated to our auction prize list. This painting is currently waiting for its framing but looks absolutely stunning without.
